You usually do not have symptoms before having a stroke. There are ways to prevent or reduce your risk of ever having one.
There are 5 diet changes that you should address immediately. Not only will they reduce your risk for stroke, but they will also reduce your risk for cardiovascular disease, cancer, and diabetes.
1. Eat meat, but only organically-raised, grass fed meats.
2. Use salt, but only unrefined natural salt such as Himalayan salt.
3. Avoid trans fats.
4. Limit smoked and processed meats (hot dogs, bacon, salami, etc)
5. Avoid soda (especially diet)
Get more sun!! The production of Vitamin D is so important to your health. Without this your risk for a stroke doubles!
Exercise and maintain a healthy weight.
These things are in your control. Take responsibility for your body and what you put in it. Our bodies are amazing, but cannot take the regular abuse that it is given each and every day.
