OK, I'm doing this shorter than the last post because the last post disappeared. I did this walk with a friend of mine that I hadn't seen/talked to in ages, so we were more interested in the social aspect of it than the exercise part of it. So, we walked slower so that we could talk. Also, it was a very unorganized event, and trying to figure out where we were supposed to go and when, also made it difficult to do anything fast. It took us 65 minutes to complete.
I have many ideas for the next time that they do this walk. I mean, it needs to be much more organized than it was. Like when we checked in they crossed our names off and gave us a goodie bag and that was it. No thanks for coming or good luck, or here's what you'll find in your goodie bag. There was a raffle ticket in there and we didn't know what it was until we asked around. The other idea is to have it in Central Mass, so that people from all over could attend, not just Bostonians. Make the walk route easier to figure out. I could go on, but I won't.
They took pictures there. If I find any with me in it, and can find a way to get it on here, I will. My camera is too big to bring with me, so that's why I didn't bring it. My friend was going to bring hers, but since she hates her photo being taken, she opted against it. Next time I do one, I'll have to borrow one.
Any ways, all in all, it was a good day. I was hoping to see more people that I know, but maybe next time.
Thanks to all of my Spark Friends who have been so great with all of the kind words of encouragement. I greatly appreciate it!!!
