My Father succumbed to Cancer

Friday, October 07, 2011

Hi Spark Family. I have been away and I am just getting back to my new "normal." I lost my dad back on the 25th to lung cancer with pneumonia complications. He was brave to the end and signed a DNR 2 days prior. He waited until my stepmom was not around and signed the forms. He bravely decided to end all treatments Sunday night and then he peacefully went through that open door that one day we must all go through. Bye daddy I will always have you in my heart and will see you in the Heavenly Kingdom. Amen!! emoticon

I'm so sorry to read this. My husband passed away right after Christmas with liver melanoma. Cancer is such a terrible disease. Prayers for you and your family...
