Since it's been almost a month, I want to start off with a sheepish hello. Life has been crazy... crazier than normal. I'm still doing my thing... but I haven't been using Spark's trackers which is why I haven't been updating. Someone told me that myfitnesspal.com's trackers on the phone were easier to user and they were right.
And since I get maybe an hour of free computer time a day lately by the time I get the SP website to do the social side of this ... I'm out of steam.
Life was going well enough. Until last week when the slight annoyance of the mild pain in my hip became horrible and teamed up with a very very sore and possibly pulled calf muscle to break me down and send me to the doctor to have it all checked out.
So I finally saw the doctor on Wednesday.
He said the calf is probably a reaction to my left hip hurting and not to stress over it. That's good! I like hearing that.
He then went to look at my hip and began palpating around my back and hip and abdomen near the hip and when I screamed "GET YOUR (expletive deleted) HANDS OFF OF ME" when he touched near my groin because I saw stars... things got ugly. He continued the exam, started asking a ton of questions about my tummy, my bathroom habits, other symptoms. I had puked Tuesday night but I thought it was just a tummy bug. I also have been queasy a lot lately and I thought that was acid reflux related. Apparently he is worried that I have a blocage or a tear or something in my colon or lower intestine, or a major ovarian cyst.
I had the CT scan done this morning and a hip x-ray to check for any bone related issue that might be causing the pain.
I am scared about what the problem is. I really can't afford to require surgery right now.
I've been doing my Zumba this whole time and watching my intake of everything. I've even been chocolate free for 5 days! 5 days!!!!!
Life is otherwise great. Work is awesome. Zumba is the highlight of my day every day. M1 and M2 and I are doing awesome. I just want to know what's wrong with my side so I can live my life without fear.
