I've been a dedicated Mac and Apple user since 1984. I've never owned anything but an Apple, and then the Macs. And I have two iPods, I'd love an iPad, and eventually I'll get an iPhone. (I may wait for the iPhone 5; if you haven't seen the previews, it has a virtual monitor and virtual keyboard, making it a portable desktop computer. Amazing!!!!)

So yes, it's very sad to see Steve Jobs' death. He was an incredible man in so many ways, at least that is how he seems from what I have seen/heard/read.

But I've been amazed at the way visual icons he developed have been used to create memorials for him. I am impressed with human ingenuity and creativity. And I am touched by the worldwide emotion generated by his passing.

May we all touch the lives of many, so that we make the world a better place before we leave it.

So sad he passed so young. Who knows what other wonderful things were in his mind that are now lost.

The world has lost some amazing talent, but the poor guy was sick and is now at rest. May he rest in peace and may we get some more honest and talented people in our country and the world.
