Ranting, Raving and Rambling

Ok, this blog is primarily to help me think my way through what is happening to my body right now.

A)Since Sunday I have had no concentrated sweets or wheat and very minimal processed foods.
B) I have eaten lots of raw veggies and 2-3 servings of fresh fruit a day
C) 9 days ago I decreased my Seroquel from 400mg to 300mg daily. This SHOULD have lowered my blood sugar quite a bit.
D) My fasting sugars are between 340-400 all week.
E) The last three days I have titrated my insulins to try and get this down with almost no success.

I have called a holistic healer and also my psychiatrist to see if the med reduction could be playing a part.

I'm also considering going to urgent care to see if maybe all the raw nuts and fruits have caused some diverticulitis.

I know I have had way too much sodium so I'm working on decreasing that over the weekend and trying to flush it out. I may try a water pill for good measure.

Thoughts? Inputs? Rants or raves?

    I hear your frustration, but my only recommendation is to take it slow, make one modification at a time, stick with it and evaluate how it is affecting your body. I'm rooting for you.

    I would also say that fruits can be very high in sugar dependent on which ones you are eating. Diabetics do generally have to limit their fruit intake.

Give the reduced Seroquel dose a couple of weeks to work (from 400mg to 300mg). Your diet sound good but still you should give it time and try to relax because if you are stressed the cortisol tends to go up and mess up every thing else.
