darn the video is wrong i will post it later when they fix it

We went to see this barefoot runner speak yesterday and what do ya know there was a reporter there with a camera man. I learned a lot about running form and he really showed us an in depth look at how normal gym shoes hinder the runner and have u up up on a heal. Also how shoes come to a point when your foot is not ment to come to a point at all and that causes a lot of injures. Childrens feet start getting deformed by shoes at age 6. This is why some of the best runners in the world were raised shoeless and their feet are actually able to grab the earth when they run with their strong toes. This guy was missing an ACL from an injury and had no issues running. Because when you run barefoot you step with your toes and the impact is much smaller. When u run with the modern shoes you come down much harder and your knees take the most impact. I will food blog later. illinoishomepage.net/ful

The only place I jog/walk or(wog) barefoot is in front of the TV or in the swimming pool. Anywhere else I would have a fear of stepping on something I shouldn't and hurting myself.

Thanks for sharing thou - I guess it depends on the individual.

Shoes definitely do deform your feet but unfortunately you can't walk around barefoot all the time.

I agree, most shoes definitely deform our feet! They are like wearing unneccesary braces! Don't even get me started on ladies dress shoes and heels! OY!

I wish my podiatrist subscribed to that. I have PF and he wants me wearing more structured shoes. I HATE shoes.
