Day 12 Countdown to 140 lbs

I saw 149 on the scale yesterday, but this was after a really good workout and only a few pieces of toast. So I'm back to 150 again. I don't think I'll be able to lose ten pounds by Halloween, it's going to get harder and harder and nobody can safely lose that much in only a few weeks. I might have to accept that my body just doesn't want to budge right now! (SO FREAKIN FRUSTRATING!!) I'll keep working towards my goal of course, but I'm not going to let myself be too disappointed if I don't reach it. I'll be super happy with 145 even!

I'm going to start Jillian's 6W6P DVD right away! It's not yet the round 3 start date for sports bra sparkies, but I really need to get over this plateau, hopefully this helps!

I bought a new pair of jeans yesterday. They're GUESS size 28. Same size I've always been, but I'm finding that my quads are harder to get into jeans lately. I really don't want big thighs! I hope running isn't the culprit! I'm going to focus on longer endurance runs, and lighter weight when doing squats and lunges and more reps. That should keep them slim! Maybe get my diet in check too....

Oh! Today at the gym I ran 3 miles in 28 minutes on the treadmill!! I was sooo excited, that's almost 5k! I was going at a 8:00 min/mile pace for a bit too! Getting faaaaassssterrr!!!!

No progress pic today, hopefully by next week! I hope everyone has a really good Thanksgiving weekend =)

    Wow! Nice job on the running!!!!! I really think that us bonding again in Sports Bra Sparkies is going to help you get to 140...

    And ya, running does make your thighs bigger, especially if you do fast sprints. Personally, I love big muscular thighs though. For the first time in my life, I actually have an ass!
