the good and the bad (it's all ugly!)

Tuesday, October 04, 2011

The good news~I am getting better. Deprssion is stablizing. I am finding the "me" time and the Daughter time. I (somehow) managed to lose 5 lbs the past two weeks. I took some spark time off. Don't know if that was good, bad or necessary.
The bad news~my father in law died a couple of days ago. My husband hasn't spoken to him in almost 10 years.
The truth~ I am starting at stage one mentality. One day, one track at a time. somewhere I lost that. emoticon

It's so much easier to take a step at a time than get overwhelmed by the big picture. Sorry for your loss. Stay here, and let friends boost you up during tough times.

I think we've all had to go back to step 1 at some point. Nothing wrong with regrouping and getting your head back around things!

I learned the hard way that I need my spark family. Daily encouragement, reading blogs, being able to spill my emotions, all things that help. So try and make time to come here, even if only to tell us what you need from us so we can try and help!

So sorry for your father-in-law's passing. Please stay positive.....just take one day at a time and you will do it. Move forward with little steps each day. Maybe the off-time from Spark was good for you. Sometimes we have to just quit doing things for a while. GLAD you are back.....there is lots of support here and we will/do listen. You have a brand new FRESH START. Go for it.

*Hugs*, honey. I know it is tough. But keep taking care of *you* ok? Stage 1. Stage 10. At least your here and still trying, right? You can pull through. Just one good decision at a time, hon. You can do it. You deserve it!

    Doesn't matter if you're starting @ stage 1 mentality -- you're DOING it! That's what is important.

Sorry for the loss of your father-in-law. How sad that your DH and he didn't reconcile . . . that has to be hard.
