Human, being human...I continue to be in awe...our bodies are so unique and wondrously made, each cell, each breath, each thought...

Yesterday, I tried to eat a little cleaner...I remembered to cleanse with apple cider vinegar in the morning, but now this morning, I've already forgot. Could of had something to do with getting out the door early, pushing myself to get to an early morning step aerobics class. I felt like I needed this cardio workout due to my spin classes being canceled this week. It's only for one week due to their need for the fitness room space for a visiting volleyball team. So I missed teaching the spin and strength training last night, but taught a yoga class later on in the evening...

I have my 200 RYT certification and I'm presently training for my 500 yoga teacher certification. One of the assignments is to meet with a client, and do a postural analysis, etc and then write up an 8 week program for them. So it worked out schedule wise to meet with and begin this process during the time frame when I'm usually on the spin bike. Even used a plumb line for the first time in the analysis and I feel like I'm seeing anatomy with new eyes after all the reading assignments and classroom lectures and discussions. This training focuses on yoga as therapy. And I'm wading in a little deeper...I'm learning so much from this client in this assigned practicuum and so thankful to her for agreeing to do this, so very thankful.

Cleansed with a hot mug of lemon juice and water yesterday mid-day and will again today. A yoga class during my lunch hour and I've brought a few "South Beach" vegetable quiche cups for lunch.

I need to be very mindful this evening of what I'm feeding my energy with, it will be a challenge to NOT overeat at this gathering of friends to play cards. I no longer drink alcohol, so that's not an issue. I look forward to getting together with them, but this presents a challenge for me to not over indulge in nuts and chips and sweets. Wish me fortitude, you know, resolute endurance...

    I am glad you are so strong, This is a quality that I admire in you. I know that tonight you will have the fortitude to make wise choices and I knowthat thye will not mind if you bring your on snacks. If fact I would bet that if you brought enough that they would be munching healthier too. I know I would be!

You are coming along so great on your training! Before long you will have your 500 hrs in and will be going for the next step. Just remember that the "Sparkettes" are cheering you on!!!
