I did it! Cracked the 220's!

Oh thank You God! For making sparkpeople and sparkfriends to guide me along:)
I am soooo happy to report that I have finally kissed the 220's goodbye! I didn't truly realize that this was one of those mini milestones for me until I hit the lower end of the 220's and started believing in myself more.
All those words of encouragement about plateaus and nonscale victories kept me going so thank you friends!
October is here and I have a fabulous sexy costume to wear at the end of the month, so here is to another great month of eating better and running and toning!
I am really enjoying the strength I feel returning to my limbs and core. I am also envisioning Thanksgiving next weekend and how less food is going to be on my plate and how I will feel pleasantly full instead of stuffed like the turkey!
I think I will in future refrain from joining goals of losing x amount of lbs in a month. I thought that would spur me on but in truth I feel a bit cheated that September was a glorious month of "healthierness" and yet I failed at the 5lbs goal. But hey, this is a learning journey, right? I am learning to focus less on the scale alone as the representative for my health. I can squat longer. I can hold my plank! I can lift that water jug onto the dispenser once again myself! Bending over all day to pick up toys isn't such a chore. My fridge looks like the produce isle! And this weekend I noticed my family time was centered around physical fun instead of mealtime
The end of bootcamp is the middle of this month and I am psyched to take the after photo and see a difference!
