Well, I've noticed a few things in the past several weeks. Most importantly, when I am counting my carbs, my blood sugar is lower! I went through a week of counting carbs and a week of just "being careful." And I find that my blood sugar is not too bad, infact rarely high at all when I am careful. That's good. But when I am counting carbs, my blood sugar is downright GOOD.
Spark people suggests that I count carbs by keeping a food journal at least three times a week. I think that's a good idea. Of course, it would be better if I do it every day. So here it is. I'm going to promise myself at least three days a week, knowing that more is better.
