Debi was at a fair a few weeks ago when I was in a mall with my grandson and daughter at a "Build a Bear" event for pre-school pta. She had a table in the mall, like many others did. I picked up a flyer and it has some nice tips. These tips listed, below-- are her words, not mine, but I certainly agree with Debi on her mission to help us all promote a healthy balanced lifestyle.
Below are her top tips for a healthier you. If you want more information, I am sure you can check her website.
Stop eating when you are full and only eat when you are hungry.
Don't arrive at a restaurant or the grocery store too hungry.
Fill up on fruits and vegetables (at least 5 servings a day).
Take deep breaths. Oxygen reduces stress and burns fat.
Clear your pantry of unhealthy food.
Eliminate soda's (diet and regular) and sugary drinks.
Drink water(at least 80 ounces a day)!!
Pack your lunch instead of eating out everyday.
Post your goals on the fridge and/or bathroom mirror where you will see them daily.
Keep a food journal. It will drastically increase your rate of success at weight loss.
Wear a pedometer and see how many steps you take. Work up to 10,000 a day.
Find an exercise you enjoy and do it at least 3 times per week.
Fiber keeps you full longer, aim for 25 grams every day.
Recruit a "fitness buddy" for workouts or walks.
Plan your meals and snacks for the week.
Take the stairs whenever you can.

Keep moving and Keep Sparkin. We are all on this journey together and no one said it would be easy. We need to do this for "OURSELVES".
