Making some changes....

Sunday, October 02, 2011

....whether we want to or not, we don't have a chance.

My husband has recently been diagnosed with Menieres disease. In order to help his symptoms, he has to follow a super low sodium diet...meaning less than 1500 mg a day!! For us, this will be hard work!

We eat a lot of junk, processed foods and restaurants. Now, we are making changes. I've been wanting to make these changes for a while, but my husband is fussy and it makes it hard. Now, he won,t have much choice!

Today, I ordered 3 Tosca Reno books. I research new recipes constantly on the Internet. I think we slowly will be able to do it. With hard work and any other diet plan or what not.

I've started a weight loss competition at work. We go until December 23rd and I plan on winning the pot of money!!! :)
My weight Friday morning with jeans on: 169lbs
Bust: 40
Waist: 35
Abdomen: 41
Hips: 41.5
MIddle thigh: 23

I took picture Thursday night for the watch me shrink challenge. I will post my pictures in a month.

I started a second round of Insanity tonight. I will be doing it only 2 days a week....hopefully 3 days a week...I want to continue running 2 days a week.

I want to run a HM next summer. My plan was for this October, but going back to work was harder than I thought and took the month of September off from running....

Can't wait to see my 1 month results!!

woohooo!! we start the low sodium, it's not as bad as it seems, just watch label, there are a lot of no salt option1 i buy that and add my own salt/seasoning!
mrs DASH has a no salt added seasoning, so i use that and add my own 'salty' to it!

one week detox, and you won't want it! like to day ordered pizza... icky feeling right now... flushing with water!!

add sodium to your tracker, and it's easy to add the ingredients1 b/c you'd be surprised it in everything!!
bread as 250 per slice!! that kind of shock
