National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Sunday, October 02, 2011

As a 3 time survivor of this disease, I dedicate myself this entire month to spread the word about the importance of getting mammograms as your dr. recommends as well as conducting regular breast self-exams on a monthly basis. Each day I am truly thankful for my survivorship, and through each blog I write this month I celebrate that gift of life. Spark People has been an amazing part of my journey back to health and even a support system during my 3rd battle from which I have been healthy from after 2 and a half years. Whatever has come in my way, something inside of me has made me a fighter, SP has certainly been fuel to that fire.

More to come tomorrow...
