I have tracked my food for 4 days and am eating and feeling great. I haven't exercised this week, but I am resting after some tough weeks at work. I really wanted to get my eating in check before adding in the stress of getting my exercise in.
I have realized that I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to this stuff. I want to do everything right and when I do not achieve this perfection, I beat myself up. I need to work on not trying to be so perfect.

    Good to see you back on SP. I have been MIA as well and have just started logging my food again. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, too, but I've told myself that right now I just need to focus on eating better. I'm trying to break it into smaller, more manageable pieces. Hope we can support each other through this -- chat soon!

    Hey Heather,

In everyday life, it's hard to do everything right. Life interferes, and you are unable to do everything perfectly. You just have to do the best you can. Don't beat yourself up about it, applaud yourself for the things you have done right.

    Hey Heather!

Glad to see you are doing well with the eating and feeling great! I think it is great that you are trying not to beat yourself up. I have found that I have periods where I can do well on eating but just can not make myself work out and other times when I am working out consistently but can not get the eating under control. But doing something better than I was before means I am moving in the right direction...

I am pretty encouraged right now, I am eating well and working out (I am doing STS again, goodness, but I LOVE this program!) I decided to do each week 2x instead of just once through. This way I can make sure I've got my weight right and when we do exercises that do right side and then left side (or vice versa) I can follow Cathe the first week and the second week I alternate. For some reason I really like doing it this way. I have jusst finished week 7 of meso II. I am going to have to push up my workouts so I can finish the second and final week of meso II before I go to the mainland on Thursday but I've got a plan so hopefully I can stick with it. Work has been uber crazy busy, but going fairly well.

So glad to see you posted a blog - it is great to hear how you are doing!
