October Goals

Well September was pretty successful in terms of goals I have tried to achieve.
didnt get to 155 but 158, I'll take it.

Did the Grouse Grind again last week, it was good
joined the running clinic , it is good, running about 30 mins now no stopping
doing the 5km Breast Cancer Run on sunday, another goal to be met, i always wanted to do a 5 km , i hope my sprained ankle will heal by then.
still doing the bootcamps, it is getting tougher and more challenging.
people have commented on my weight loss, even a neighbour from few doors down, he said Joyce i hope you dont fade away, I said yeah right that will never happen, come on.

A surprise and a wow moment that the scale is not always the right way to measure success even though i am into weighing myself every 3 days or so. I was cleaning out my closet the other day and still have suits and dresses from years ago, i found dress that i wore for my niece's wedding and it was a size 20, that was a shocker, wow was i really that big and not I am into size 10-12. slowly but surely

Helping Jaime a single mom at work that really could lose a weight to walk 3-4 days a week, she is finding it difficult to do some of the little hills but i tell it will get easier, she said i inspire her and motivate her, wow that is pretty heavy statement. I told her i want her to lose 5 pounds in October. We walk 30 mins about 4 times a week, challenge her with faster pace and hills, i know she can do well if she is determined.

Challenges to be met - 4 birthdays and Thanksgiving dinners

So goals for October

1. Finish the 5k run on sunday
2. Keep working out
3. Running clinic, jog 2-3 times a week
4. Keep carbs low, more protein and veggies
5. drink that water

Goal weight for October is 153. emoticon
