As this is only my second blog of the month I obviously have not kept up with my goal of blogging at least once a week! My other goals were not met either:( I started out the month full of energy and ready to go but along the way I quickly lost my way. We went on a houseboat trip the second weekend and since then I just have not been able to find my motivation to get back on track. I am still feeling pretty good about my how my body looks but would really like to get some more energy back again. We got a new bed that was delivered this week and I am still getting used to it, I guess. I seem to be really hot at night now, not sure if it's because I am getting sick, or the new bed, or the way I reorganized our room so the bed is no longer under the open window. Will have to play with some things to get it figured out! I have started a new pain med again so playing with timing/dosing to get the pain control right. So far it seems to be working pretty good. I am doing the Run for the Cure on Sunday and really do not feel ready to run a 5K. My running has really suffered over the summer as I just could not get up early enough to beat the heat. Also I am getting a cold. However, this morning I read Wannabfit10's blog and was inspired by her to just go out and give it my best shot. She has been sick and went out and did a 9 mile run despite a chest cold! I have decided that I will try and run as much of it as I can and if I have to walk I will walk but I will push myself as much as I can.
So my October goals will be the same as my September goals:
!. Get back into the routine of daily workouts, at least 5 days a week.
2. Good healthy meals at regular times.
3. Healthy baking for the family at least every 2 weeks.
4. Blog at least once a week.
5. Work at regularly scheduled times, whether I feel like it or not!
Here's hoping October will be the month I can meet these goals!!
