Okay, 6 lbs down: while it's not a lot to write home about, I'll celebrate it as step #124 in this journey. It's a positive move toward my goal of getting healthier! Just adding the daily exercise seems to make so much difference to my metabolism, and I am LOVING the gym & especially the runner training! I'm also loving the changes in my waist, belly, & hips - those favorite pants of mine are now in the Goodwill stack.
My eating habits are changing a little, just to get my daily calorie count up to the SP calorie minimum. I thought at the beginning that I wasn't going to bother with the food tracker much because it makes me feel like I'm obsessing over the food - which I DON'T think is healthy- but after tinkering with it a bit, I'm liking the knowledge it gives me, and I'm not obsessing too much. I'll play that one by ear, as I go. So many Sparkers & Spark Friends have gone on about it's benefits, I could hardly ignore it. And I did lose 6 lbs!
The main difference in my diet is that I'm eating more, and more often.
Overall, I'm excited & happy that the scale showed ANY progress, and October: Here I Come! Next month is going to be GREAT!
