Working out is getting tough

Thursday, September 29, 2011

I am still logging the minutes/miles but let me tell you... working out is getting harder and harder! I am just a couple of days away from the beginning of the second trimester and I can certainly tell! LOL

On Tuesday morning, I did an hour of kettlebells and then went shopping all day. My back hurt ALL day. It was all I could do to keep walking around! Then, yesterday I did an hour of mixed aerobics and I felt great. But today, after an hour of P90X and then 20 minutes of P90X Yoga, my back was hurting again... in the same spot as Tuesday.

So I think I will take a rest day tomorrow. I like to get my minutes/miles in early in the week so we can LAND! So taking a rest day at the end shouldn't be so bad.

And I bet my back will thank me! :)

I am so impressed that you are working as hard as you are for fitness...I remember being knocked on my butt during the first trimester with my two! Hope you enjoy the rest day...keep listening to your body and take it easy when you need to! emoticon

You DESERVE a rest day! Take care of yourself and don't push too hard. Although let me say how impressed I am that you are not using pregnancy as an excuse. I don't know that I would do the same in your shoes!
