Understanding the meaning of a lifestyle change

Today, I am sore. I took the last two weeks off because of a combination of work and being tired, and started back up close to where I left off.
I preach the fact that we need to give our body rest time, and I know I needed it, but also felt how fast our body can start becoming weaker. So here is my advise for all of you, give your body time to rest, but don't let yourself take extended periods, because, though psychologically, you feel as though not much has changed, your muscles will tell you something different.
Fitness and wellnes is not a race. We can push ourselves, but eventually we will need to take that break, so just ensure that everything is in moderation. That is the secret key to success. It's not that you can not have an off day, but do not let those days pile up, because it will not help you in the long term. Stay consistent and focused, and you will get there!
