We played our season opening concert last night, Lizt - Les Preludes, Rutter - Suite Antique for flute, Schubert - Unfinished Symphony, and Tchaikovsky - Waltz from Eugene Onegin. Between preparing for the concert, attempting mega holiday baking (I'm sticking to simple things because some stuff went straight to the garbage), and themes of rejection, I've noticed that I haven't insisted on exercise and I'm feeling it. I don't like it. I've moved past frustration and I'm hoping to turn it around today.
It's holiday time and I've taken time off. I'm behind on pretty much everything, but that's not overwhelming me now, though it was last week. I'm going to nibble away and do 10 minutes here and there.
I have rehearsal today, cleaning, maybe more baking ---ooops, see the list, let me rephrase that -- workout today, rehearsal, cleaning, baking ---I'm working on it, shaking up the order of priority. So, this is how I want to start my new year (L'Shana Tova!) - with putting my fitness and health as a priority, so that all the other ways to give and be can follow.
