Tuesday is weight in day for me. I was down again this week. Not by much, but hey, a loss is a loss, right?
I started my weight loss journey almost a year ago. I was close to my all time high of 210lbs, weighing in at 207. I set 10% of my body weight as a first goal. I have been watching my calories and fat intake. I have also been going to the fitness club on a regular basis.
What is so wrong with that? Nothing. Nothing at all. I realized something as I was laying in bed last night. I have been so focused on my first BIG goal, that I have neglected to celebrate the little milestones that happen along the way.
I weighed in at 195.1 lbs on Tuesday. That means I have lost 11.9 lbs. How did I not have a mini celebration for myself when I had lost 10?
The celebration will be on Saturday. I haven't decided if it is a massage or a hair cut and colour.... but it will be in honour of losing my first 10!
