Last weekend was my birthday and I went to a ladies retreat at a great camp in the north woods of Wisconsin.
I spent the weekend hearing great messages along with going horseback riding, hiking in the woods, climbing the massive hill from our cabin on the lake to the camp activities. I kept trying to find new ways to get up the hill. Great workouts!
Best of all I went zip lining for the very first time. I was hesitant at first. My heart pounding just about out of my chest. But I did it - I stepped of that platform and sailed through the woods. It was exhilarating! I'm hooked and can't wait to do it again. I had to challenge myself to do it.
Challenging myself. I need to do this more often. Not get stagnant in my workouts. Think outside the box. I can do these things. That first step is often the most difficult, but we're never going to know if we can unless we try.
