This is the second day of my return to tracking my food. I tried to stop tracking and eat normally, but failed to eat healthy amounts of food. I noticed that my portion size kept creeping up until it was twice the amount it should be, and I started eating extra food at night. All the food was healthy, but eaten in unhealthy amounts! It seems I am unable to make the transition to tracking only once a week. I need that daily discipline of tracking to keep me from overeating!
I am not discouraged. This just means that I am not yet ready to make this transition. I will continue to track daily for another week and see how it goes. On the bright side, I weighed myself this morning and recorded a weight of 144.0 pounds, an new personal best for me. this is the lowest I have ever weighed! WooHoo!
Yesterday I bought a cheap bookcase at Walmart for just $16. It was such a good bargain that I could not pass it up. I had a great time assembling it at home with my hammer and screwdrivers. It looks so good in my living room, and now I have a happy place to put my books, which are accumulating. I thought that when I got a Kindle, I would switch to reading only ebooks. Was I wrong! There is still nothing like having a paper book in your hands and turning the pages. WooHoo!
