This is odd...

I think the antibiotics I'm taking for the impetigo are suppressing my appetite. I was not hungry for breakfast (I got busy and forgot to eat until noon), and I was waiting for my hungry signals for dinner, and they just never came, so I finally gave in and ate anyway. I wish every day could be like this!

Also, we went and played tennis this evening and I was awesome! I was returning some hard shots, zinging them right over the net, good hard returns. It felt fantastic! I was really hustling from one side of the court to the other trying to return every shot I could. It was great exercise!

While we were playing there was a high school football game going on at the stadium which was right on the other side of the fence, we were behind the home team's goalposts, and we could see all the action. The home team was creaming the visitors, the fans and cheerleaders were cheering, the band was playing - I never went to football games as a kid, so it was kind of cool to see it as an outsider now. Fun evening!

Since many of us have taken drugs with entirely the opposite reaction, you're the envy of us all! You've been doing really well; maybe you'll take up cross-country skiing or something similar this summer to replace the tennis.

Nice side effect! I hope you are feeling better! And great job on the tennis.

I used to suck at tennis too, but playing a couple times a week all summer (with a talented teacher for a husband) has really made a difference. I'm dreading when the weather changes and we can't play anymore. I don't want to have to start fresh again in the spring!

Wow...something that suppresses appetite. Nice...but I'd rather not "have" to take something for health reasons. lol But if you do have to take it, then at least it seems to have a helpful side benefit. Good for you for eating something though. I know hunger signals are better, but you know your body needs regular fuel even if it's not sending those signals.

And tennis! I'm impressed--I suck at it. Keep up the good work!
