So how many times have I said that and failed. The difference this time is I've hired a personal trainer and I'm hitting the gym hard as well as tracking my calories. I've also accepted the fact that I'll only lose a max of 2 lbs a week so my goal dates are more realistic.
The really cool thing is this is the first time my husband has said that he's never seen me work out so hard and have this much determination and that it's really paying off!
I started at the gym the beginning of Sept and just started with tracking my food. I'll finish a month with Amanda (my personal trainer, who I love) the end of the month. She even told me that the weight won't really start coming off till the 2nd month so that is helping me be a little more patient.
My thyroid test came back yesterday and while my TSH is right in the middle of normal my free T4 is on the low side of normal so my dr perscribed meds that I started this morning. Mom said by day 4 they would start working and I'd feel better (more energy). I may be wrong but I feel better already. Could be the coffee or just psychological. Who knows. She also said that with as much as I'm exercising I should have more energy not less. Maybe I can get off the antidepressants. I really thought it was my thyroid all along, but my dr said it was depression (which is one of the side effects of hypothyroidism). Glad he's gotten on board with medicating for the low side of normal to get me to the high side of normal. I know when I was on armour thyroid I felt more "like myself". Hoping I can get back there again.
