Life has been busy, and I am finally sitting down now to write about beginning Phase 2 of Jamie Eason's LiveFit Trainer.
I took measurements last Saturday and I have definitely made progress:
Lost 2 lbs.
Waist: Lost 1 inch
Hips: Lost 1 inch
Neck: Lost 1/2 inch
Thigh: Lost 3 inches (that seems extreme. Might have measured incorrectly)
Received quite a few "Have you lost weight?" comments. I had one girl that I usually do kettlebell with say to me "Look at you getting skinny!" We had a good talk about how you seem to never lose weight/pounds when trying to gain muscle. She has lost quite a bit of weight herself and gained a lot of lean muscle and definition. So, it was good to hear about how frustrating the scale might be, but yet, you can SEE the positive changes in your body.
I've done 2 days of Phase 2 already: Back and Chest/Abs. Can't wait to see if my abs get sore tomorrow. They were BURNING during today's workout!
And yes, so nice to do cardio again! I love hopping on the elliptical after I get up. Just crank up my iPod and go!
I haven't lost momentum at all, and so happy about how I've been sticking to the eating plan and getting in workouts. Just seeing the results are so motivating!
I can't wait to see what the results are in another 4 weeks.
