All things are difficult before they are easy."~Thomas Fuller
Nothing quite like stating the obvious, is there... a bad habit of mine too... LOL
We all start at square one, and build our lives one step at a time. We can't even crawl when we start out, we just wiggle and work until our muscles and our balance are strong enough to push us up onto hands and knees-- and then we wobble our way across the floor and grab the furniture and wiggle and work until our muscles and our balance are strong enough to get us up on our feet. And eventually we let go of the furniture "safety net" and stagger around the room. In the end, if we are lucky enough to stay healthy, we can run, and we head off for various amazing adventurous journeys. And it seems so easy...
And then we age, are injured, become ill... but we are still never quite beyond those stages of learning, no matter what our circumstances. We wiggle and work until we figure it out and develop the strength and balance to move on to the next step. And so the next leg of the adventurous journey begins, on and on into eternity.
And that's okay.
I've been at this long enough, I figure I should at least know the process! LOL
I'm at the crawling stage in some things and having to retrain muscles and mind to do old tasks in new ways. It's a struggle, sure. It's a challenge, and though I may gripe from time to time, I do like the journey--so I keep at it! LOL
And the things where I'm running? They give me hope, keep me moving forward.
And I'm off to a new day of working and wiggling... one step, one process at a time!
Here we go, dear friends, we're OFF! LOL
My grandfather had the purple violets like this growing in his lawn... lovely!
