Without "farm country" we would all STARVE. I don't think most people today going into a grocery store really stop to think about WHO puts that food there. emoticon emoticon

I froze my hcg and then put it with dry ice in an insulated cup and packed it with my check in bag. I brought my apples with me in my purse and they didn't make a big deal out of it so here I am sitting at the gate enjoying my apples. I bought a huge bottle of water and some mixed nuts at the little market that I like in the airport (no I'm not going to eat the mixed nuts; it's for P3 but I really like it because it's gluten free and has all these seeds including pumpkin, apples etc.). Blog to you guys from Dayton. Augh - I have an hour and a half layover in Dallas - remind me to tell my admin NOT to do that to me again. Hope everyone is having a great day!

When I got my new fancy scale I think it weighed me lighter. lol. But either way I love it. However, I'm at like 37%(?) body fat on the scale but closer to like 31% with the thing at the gym. The thing you hold in your hands with your arms straight out. Hmm. . . Which is right? The water on my scale is somewhere in the 40's% so you are kicking that! I was a lot lower, and now I drink a lot more water. So I'm proud of my number increase. I should do the whole thing tomorrow. Normally I just do the weight as I'm still sleepy! :)

You know I looked at a scale like that on Friday, but I'm afraid of my body fat measurements. I hate that shaker weight. Felt like I was shaking a big baby rattle. I ended up returning mine to Target. However, I hope you have a better time with it than I did.

I'm not going to the office today. Little guy is not feeling well. But I'll try the cucumber thing soon. I have some cucumbers tomorrow.

On the airport security kick. Check with the airline/TSA. They keep changing the rules. I would be concerned with a vial in an insulated cup more so than the apple. They may not allow the apple; however, tell them you have a medical condition (which you as well as the rest of us do -- that's why we're on this protocol). But ask them about the refrigerated medication and the need to bring your special diet food with you while on such a long flight. Also, once you're on the plane, ask the flight attendant to chill your cup for you.

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot -- put a gel (ice) pack in an insulated bag with the insulated cup. When at airport security, just tell them your medication has to be refrigerated. But also tell them this when you call and ask for their best recommendation. Get names too -- just in case you have problems at the check-point. Let me know how it goes.

Well I finally got to the PC. Just got to love the scale thing, mine are just opposite. My one that measures everything is one pound lighter than the regular one.
I don't know about food I would be more concerned about taking medication through security, I don't know how you have it packaged and I know they were blocking any liquid from planes, I of course have no clue you should call ahead to make sure you are good to go with that, that is what customer service is there for. I do hope you have a safe trip and Ohio is not to bad it is farm country so you will look like a city slicker no matter what.
I will be waiting to hear that you got there safe and sound. Sandy
