It's been a whole year since I've sparked! I'm happy to report I maintained my 50 lb weightloss but sad to report I haven't lost anything else.
It's funny because exercising is not my problem; It's the types of food I eat and when. So, instead of me trying to be extremely restrictive with eating 100% raw I am allowing myself to comsume some cooked food. I would say I'm probably 85% raw now. I still do not eat meat. The cooked foods I eat include lentils, eggs, oatmeal, yams, brown rice and other beans. I'm also trying to cut out cheese again!
I've gotten myself back on track as of 6 weeks ago. Instead of looking at the long road I have ahead of me I've been setting intermediate goals. For example, for the month of August I set a goal to workout each day last month and drink 96 oz of water daily. That included 1-2 days of yoga, 3 days of strength training, and 6 days of cardio. I was so excited when I managed those goals that I rewarded myself with new workout shoes!
This month my goal is to continue last month's goals while changing my eating habits. I will eat every 2.5-3 hours which means I'll be eating 6-7x daily. So far, I know I've lost weight because my clothes are fitting differently (better) and my energy has increased like crazy! I love it!
I'll be posting pics of my daily meals again! I found when I do that I'm more likely to stay on track.
