I had a stuck moment last week. I have slowly gotten back on track. I haven't lost any weight as of yet but I am working at living a healthier lifestyle and I am succeeding. I have a pedometer. My day typically uses about 2k steps. I wanted to do 10k. I have started walking in front of the TV or while I am on the phone (speaker on or cell). I have ordered a hula hoop because I think that will be fun so when I don't feel like walking I can do something a bit different. I have also go a jump rope. I am now able to do four jumps before I trip myself up. I still need to cut the rope back a bit but I am getting it. Oh yeah..I do between 8k and up on the days I am motivated. I get unmotivated about every 4 or 5 days. I am not a power walker. I just walk. My husband now walks with me in the afternoon which makes it easier. When he doesn't feel up to it I jog or walk in step while watching a video. Simple but doable. It is a start..to a healthier lifestyle.
Blesssings! Tammy

I am truly thinking of doing a video blog. It's real and more accountable- as you did. I like your honesty and it's nice to see a pretty face. Good for you on your walk as well! I hit many blocks in my weight-loss journey. I lost 98+ pounds before with WW but my thyroid hit and I now go through a roller coaster with my weight. The best thing to do, for me is to Vent! Get it out so you can move on. I never quit- no matter what happens. I see it as a life or death thing because diabetes and hypertension runs in my family. If I quit, I'm killing myself, you know? At least dooming myself. Don't stop and keep on going, no matter what happens to you or around you!

I've had a couple of challenges also...we took a short trip and hubby wanted to go to Ihop for dinner. I was perfectly happy to eat in the room from picnic items ( spark planned) but he did tak me into Ihop. It was closed, but we went next door to Denny's where I had pancakes.

Then yesterday, he wanted to go to the Chinese buffet here at home. I planned to av oid the dessert area, but did not succeed.

But I am not going to let that bow my week.

I am going to be on track as of today, big time.

I am glad you went for your walk. That might just get you started again...PLUS, perhaps it cleared your thinking for your planning for your clients.

By the way...does you son have to take public transportation to school? Surely they do not get detention for tardiness when a school bus runs late.
