Learning Patience

I've been food logging and exercising for over a month now, but I haven't lost any weight--in fact, I've gained two pounds. Talking to friends and reading helped me realize that my body is adjusting to changes and it may take more time for me to see any weight loss.

This is what I have noticed: my wedding ring is more loose on my finger; my back muscles are more defined; I have much more energy; I'm making better food choices without feeling deprived.
