Darn it!

Just when I'm on a roll with my exercise - fate steps in and slaps me a good one. It has been confirmed by my doctor that I have torn the meniscus in my left knee. They had to special order a brace large enough to fit me and I'll have to use crutches. Isn't that a kicker? LOL

If that isn't bad enough, I've been trying to do some arm exercises, and my left rotator cuff is hurting bad. So, I have to head back to the doctor and have that checked out.

So, I'm a physical mess. LOL

    I am SO sorry to read this. I am wondering if a good Physical Therapist can help you find something you can do.....I hope so. Part of the reason I am so devoted to exercise is for the emotional lift it gives me so I hope and pray you heal without complications and can find some activities to do in the meantime. There are people on Spark who know way more about this than I do, of course. I am thinking of you.

    Give yourself time to heal before trying to exercise again! You don't want to rush it and make things worse! Hope you are soon on the mend!
