It was another nice morning in the DFW Metroplex... cool and cloudy with a nice breeze. Although it was this temperature once last week, it felt cold then but felt wonderful this morning.
After a five minute warm up walk, I started the running intervals in the following scheme:
1 minute run / 2 minute walk repeating for 30 minutes. Following that, it goes to a 30 second run followed by a 90 second walk. I normally go for four or five miles.
Today my legs were incredibly tired and I can feel slight lactic acid buildup in both legs while running. I think that helped limit how long I was able to run, especially after the first thirty minutes.
I'm looking forward to Saturday and Sunday and plan to go walking both days and let me legs rest.
With a total of ten minutes for warm up and cool down, today's totals are:
