I firmly believe, somehow, that cars break down as soon as we have money!!!I was going to pick up a few things I've been wanting and BAM!!She starts smoking and making a grumbling noise!I am counting my blessings that I DO have a car and the money to repair it but,the little girl in me wants to throw a tantrum....LOL,I wont trust me.My hubs had to take my car to work so i'm relying on Doge Country's shuttle to bring me home.I got there at 8:15 and didnt get home until 10: 40!I'm not leaving appliances out either! The stove is almost 5 years old now and the baking element broke, the burner switch is bugging and the vacuum just went kaput! In my mind i'm thinking positive. At least the AC is still going strong emoticon emoticonSUSAN

My bread maker just quit, I am taking it as a message from on high. But yes, things don,t last as long as they did. All the fancy stuff inside makes them better to use but there,s more to go wrong.

Ya, that's not pleasant.
I've got a hubby that insists he'll fix everything...he's still fixing #1 broken vacuum and #2 is now dead. Sweeping the rugs is so very old.

You know I think you've had your fair share of broken things for a more for you!

I know for us that ever time we had a little chunk of money( from taxes) some appliance or the car needed repair or replacement. Now that we are senior citizens I keep hoping nothing will need a major repair or replacement before we decide to sell our home. We did by a new car so hopefully that should do us for some time. Nothing lasts long enough like it did years ago. Poorer quality of materials and higher prices.

I believe in the car god. Years ago my bff learned this lesson. Never ever mention that you have any kind of money around the car. it hears you and eats it and more. and I am beginning to believe in the appliances. Didn't sleep well Sat got up way too early on Sunday so coffee machine broke!

Okay, so they say things happen in threes, right? If so, you're out of the woods for a while!
