After beginning to jog, I get to wondering if "ElastiGirl" ever got muscle cramping, after all she reaaaalllly can stretch, maybe it's the suit hmmm.

Teehee, the title doesn't mean me AT ALL! I'm just pondering on the wonders of stretching and as of this past Sunday I'm chastising myself for not doing enough. As you already know, I've been jogging (intervals still, but less walking now) for a little over a month now and just when you begin to feel comfortable with yourself, myself in my case I go and do the unthinkable....not enough time stretching. Oooooooh the pain on my leg just below my calf, is horrific going up the stairs, and even worse, going down the stairs ouch!!!
So lesson learned....TAKE THE TIME TO DO YOUR STRETCHING!!!! I've even found a great article on "coolrunning.com" http://www.coolrunning.com/eng
ine/2/2_1/126.shtml about stretching. This morning after appropriate stretching before and after my jog, I have to say it doesn't feel so bad.
