I love Body Step classes, and I love freestyle step classes... aren't they great fun and great calorie burners!
But have you ever done a class with two steps, either in parallel or at right angles to each other? At my gym is an awesome trainer who spends each week inventing new and near-impossible dance routines using two steps at a time.
And, just when I thought he couldn't make it more challenging, our trainer instructed our class members put our steps parallel to each other, sharing the steps with the person next to us. I am sure I burnt many hundreds of calories on the dance moves, and a few hundred more laughing when I turned the wrong way and crashed into my neighbours!
