I need some motivation

For the past couple of days, I have not been feeling very motivated. The weather is beautiful and I cannot blame the way I am feeling on that. I have started back to school and always find the first of the semester a little intimidating, until I start into the term work and know how I will tackle my assignments. I am so concerned that all the school work will come first and myself and exercise will come second. I cannot let this happen. I am looking for some suggestions on how to keep motivated at a very busy time in the year and in my life. Any suggestions, stories will be greatly appreciated. :Lost that lovin' this new style feeling and need to get it back.

  Well, I started with not eatting after 8 in the evening in October and have continued into Novemember, yeah I slipped up a few time but now eatting after 8 is the EXCEPTION for me where it was the rule back a couple of months ago. Just another way sparkpeople has supported me! LOVE MY SP firends

    Your schoolwork is important! Try to get up a half an hour to an hour earlier, do some jogging etc. It's important FOR you! Beside the added oxygen will make you study better afterwards. You will get used to it getting up earlier.
I also like the idea of exercising in your breaks. You are strong! You will make it!

    I am feel ya, I know where you are, I can testify! I'm a full time student online, work full time, and still take care of family stuff. It is not the easiest thing in the world and just yesterday I felt the way same. You're going to have days like that and it's ok as long as you still push forward. I agree, take ten minute breaks to do some exercises. I walk for about 30 minutes before I get started any homework just to get my brain going! How ever you do, work in the exercises. You'll be thankful you did. emoticon

    When I was going to school, I always remembered what the "experts" said: You need to take a break once an hour when sitting doing schoolwork/work. I would take ten minutes to do a few exercises, walk around, whatever. I got my exercise in and the break did refresh me and help me concentrate more. Good luck.

    Oh dear, you have fallen into a trap! You are worrying too much about tomorrow. Mark Twain said "I have had a lot of worries in my life, and most of them never happened." Focus on the NOW. Enjoy the moment. Each minute you spend worrying about what will happen in the future is a minute lost right now! Look out of the window and focus on how beautiful it is. Think about how much you will enjoy walking around out there. Then go do it! Action kills motivation! Lace up your shoes and go! Go even if you don't FEEL like it! Just go!
