So, it's been a while. It's been a while since I've blogged. It's been a while since I had a fitness breakthrough. It's been a while since I tracked my nutrition. It's been a while since I've gotten off my butt and moved.
This weekend I had a couple of friends visit, and we chatted a lot about fitness, which I LOVE doing. Anyway, all of my encouragement to them got me missing my movement. Plus, it helps that the weather is nice again, so I don't have to try to figure out how to stay warm but not too warm running in the cold! So I took my lunch break as a fitness break and headed to Starbucks for a run/walk. It was great. Just what I needed...and now my day is flying. It always happens when I do activity during my lunch instead of sitting and eating and reading or whatever. Yay! Plus I burned around 485 calories in 50 minutes. I was sweaty and gross and feeling awesome. :D Haha.
Anyway, I've been busy lately. And unfortunately a lot of the busyness has either involved overindulging far too often and/or skipping breakfast to run out the door in time for work, only to gorge myself later. Ah! But I'm getting back on track. I'm not kicking myself or guilting myself or shaming myself for these past couple of weeks. I'm just accepting it, and moving forward. Because that's all I can do if I want to continue to make progess. :) So yay.
I'm not too motivated to type today (more motivated to get back on Pinterest and pin! I'm obsessed...). So I'm going to leave this one here for now. Hope all of you are making the decision to take a step forward today, even if you've run backwards for how ever long! Just take that one step forward and plan to take another and another. That's what I'm doing. Good luck!!
