I got up early and left DH in bed since we went to bed late and he needs his sleep these days.
I did get 7 hours sleep and when I awaken I am always raring to go.
I decided to Spark, did my blood sugar and posted it. Spun the wheel 3 and 3 bonus, no problem the wheel has been very kind to me of late.
DH gets up and has to take a medication on an empty stomach and he has to wait to eat or drink for at least 30 minutes, he really dislikes the wait. He now has a sore foot, his Plantar ligament is really painful and at the beginning of the day he has to put shoes on ASAP otherwise the pain is bad.
I asked him to drive me to the rail trail so I could do my walk and that way I would be able to watch “LEWIS” on PBS. at 9p.m.
I walked the trail again for 4 miles and it was exactly 80 minutes.
There were lots of kids on training wheel bikes so I was entertained by talking with them as I walked.
I was walking very fast when an older man went by me carrying a blanket under his arm, he went by me and hurried away. I was wondering why he had a security blanket at his age. Then I heard a delightful scream. His Grand daughter had left her blanket in the car and they had walked some distance before she missed it. The grandmother sat on a bench while he rushed back for her blanket. They were still ahead of me when I saw the blanket drop from the stroller on to the trail. No one noticed so I went faster and rescued it and then took it to them. As I walked up to the side of the stroller with the blanket in my hand, the child looked up, saw the blanket and let out a scream from where?.
The Grandfather saw I was holding it and put it over her head. She immediately closed her mouth, bundled the blanket like a pillow and as I walked ahead of them the child fell asleep. The grandparents did tell me she was up late and got them up early so they were hoping she would take a nap.
I finished my walk and DH had gone home for breakfast and now he was waiting in the car park to take me back to the house.
It was a gorgeous day so I decided to move some more loam from the neighbors yard to ours, we had started the project and then there was rain so we covered the pile with a tarp till it was better weather. Today was that day.
Before I did that I put on the oven to cook my two chickens. I set the timer and went to work on the yard.
I took the wheelbarrow and put 20 shovels of loam in it , then I had to wheel it across both of our yards to dump it. I know I can just handle 20 shovels in the barrow otherwise I cannot get it up the hill. I knew I could do that 10 times and it would take me over an hour.
I got it done but it took me longer, I remembered DH was helping fill the barrow last time.
That was my first strength training for the day.
I went in and we had lunch. DH had BLT and I had BLT salad.
After lunch I did more sparking and when the chickens were done I micro waved my butternut squash I bought at the farm stand. I always microwave it with no added water and it is nice and dry, Then I mash it and freeze it in single cup amounts. We both love Butternut.
after more Sparking I cooked Broccoli and Cauliflower together and we had that with roast chicken breast for our suppers. It was so tasty.
I have signed up with another Sparker to walk the 5K next Sunday in Bangor Maine, rain or shine.
I had a great day and accomplished a lot.
I walked well over 5 miles today and 16,108 steps last time I checked.
In Nutrition I am 300 down on my calories everything, else is in range.
I have 6 more days to see if I lose a single pound after my very long plateau. I am not frustrated I just accept it but I do like to play tricks on my body since it plays many tricks on me. HUGS Pat in Maine.

DAY!
