It has been months since my last blog, since my last weigh in, since I was consistent with my working out and eating vegan. I've been asking myself, what happened to your motivation? On a daily basis lately. My focus these past few months has been quitting smoking

nothing else seemed as important.
But this afternoon I stepped on the scale for the first time since May, and guess what I found. MOTIVATION!! I'm not back to my heaviest weight like when I first began Spark but I am too close for comfort.
I called up a local Café that prepares vegan meals and joined their monthly meal plan. They will be preparing my lunch and dinner 4 days a week, with portion controlled meals. This is very convenient for me, between work and school and getting in those very necessary workouts I won't have to think about what I'm going to eat and end up making the wrong choices because it's quick and easy. And at $8 a meal I really can't beat it!
So I have a plan for the food issue. Now for the workouts!
I have spoken to the personal trainer I used to work with and he is so happy that I'll be returning to the gym, I know I have someone by my side that will push me to my limits and encourage me when I want to quit. He's no longer my personal trainer but he's willing to workout with me a few days a week at work during our lunch hour. The challenge for me here will be to block out my calendar for lunch and not end up working or being booked for meetings.
A few evenings a week I have found a few yoga studios that are giving classes that fit my work/school schedule. I am currently planning for 2 hot yoga classes and 2 regular yoga classes each week. With this plan I will be working out six days a week, either with my friend or in a yoga class.
I know how much blogging has helped me in the past, just writing down my goals and posting my achievements sustains my motivation. I'll be posting my successes each week.

for reading and your encouragement
