Reaping in the Field of "ON TO THE NEXT ONE"

Sunday, September 11, 2011

During worship our beloved Temple Choir ministered a song by Richard Smallwood entitled, "Those Who Sow in Tears SHALL Reap in Joy!" It is based on one of the Psalms which reads: "They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest." ~Psalms 126:6 NLT

Hearing this song particularly blessed me today, because for the past year or so I have been sowing in my tears. As a matter of fact, thanks to the "events of life", I have probably cried more in the past few months than I did when I was a baby...LOL!

However, I am oh so thankful for every tear that was shed because those tears have watered my "mustard-seed" faith in God to the point that it is now time to sing all loud and off-key as I reap the "harvest!"

EXACTLY 40 days from today (1o-21-2o11), one of the biggest-wildest-craziest-outla
ndish dreams that I ever dreamed WILL become a reality! No, I will not be a back-up dancer for Janet Jackson, nor will I receive Oprah's Red Dress (well, not yet anyway). Believe it or not, it's even better!!!

Little ol' ordinary D710DANCE will be in a position to effect change while God receives ALL of the glory (**details will be forthcoming on FB &/or Twitter **)! Like Pastor said this morning as he preached about doing greater works in Jesus' name (John 14:12-13 KJV), "God is doing something EXTRAORDINARY with the ORDINARY all we have to do is believe!"

Yeah Buddy I BELIEVE!!! As a matter of fact, I BELIEVE that God will "do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20)" or imagine or pray or journal or have the audacity to dream!

So, in other words...if you have been sowing in tears and are growing discouraged...DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT get weary in well-doing! "At the proper time WE WILL reap a harvest if we DO NOT GIVE UP." (Galatians 6:9 NIV)

In the meanwhile, I'm STILL PRAYIN' and I'm most definitely ON TO THE NEXT ONE...

(to be continued) emoticon

"Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And WHATSOEVER ye shall ask in my name, THAT WILL I DO, that the Father may be GLORIFIED in the Son." ~John 14:12-13 KJV
