Being a born-again Christian, I have read and studied the Bible~ particularly the Book of Revelation . So ,ten years ago when 9/11 occurred, I was not surprised except that it was so fast. I remember driving to work and hearing the news with shock and being numb . And then crying the whole day when viewing it on television @ work and later @ home. Trying to explain the shock of the news to my students that were asking and were only 7 yrs. old was a challenge that I never expected to encounter [another was the Challenger Space Shuttle in 1986 with my 6 yr. old students at the time] . Now, ten years later, I pray for those who lost loved ones and FOR OUR NATION because as a nation ,we are not turning towards God ,but away from Him . I pray that anyone who experiences loss of a loved one would come to the saving grace and knowledge of a personal relationship with Jesus. He CAN comfort and heal .To the people in the military and families of those in the military who fight for OUR FREEDOMS we enjoy every day, I salute you ,pray for your safe return and THANK YOU for giving the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE OF YOUR TIME AND YOUR LIFE FOR OUR COUNTRY!!!! Not many are willing to do what you do~
Our American flag~ I love her and what she represents~ our freedom to worship God because we still ARE ONE NATION UNDER GOD! And I pray for our nation to keep honoring God and turn TOWARDS Him and not away from Him.
