Today's Fitness
I did 10 minutes of fitness yesterday (Sept. 9)

Today's Highlights
Today's highlight was running out of time, but still getting the 10 minutes in. I went outside and bounced on the mini-trampoline in the dark. It was fun hearing the grasshoppers chirping at night while bouncing and working towards my goals.

I also went to an acupuncturist yesterday for help with my allergies. I really liked him and will keep trying this and let everyone know what I think over time.

AND when my game got delayed by a half hour I thought, "awesome, I''m
heading to the gym" ... AND I went and got in a half hour workout. The
other half will still be done after my game. Woot woot!

    My highlight today was completing Day 3 of Week 1 of training for the upcoming virtual 5K. Yesterday, after completing Day 2, my back was killing me. Today, I was more exhausted than anything else. But now, as I'm about to turn in for the evening, I feel such a sense of gratification that I pushed through what I thought was going to be impossible today. AND my back feels like it's loosened up nicely.

    I guess I can count this training towards the 10-minutes-a-day challenge as well, right?

    My highlight...way more than 10 minutes today - one that I NEVER would have imagined and would never have even dreamed before Sparkpeople. I ran the Chicago half-marathon....and though I have lots of room for improvement, Spark has taught me to just keep taking those baby steps forward and I'll have another chance to improve on my fitness goals in my next half...just six weeks from now! THANKS SPARK PEOPLE!

    I use the mini-tramp for at least 10 minutes first thing in the morning to get my metabolism going, then add a Coach Nicole video workout. This gives me a confidence boost: I have started the day off healthily. Next up: a high protein breakfast (after I take a fasting blood glucose level) to help stabilize my blood sugar. I am able to keep much better control of my blood sugars by taking several readings a day and do not need to use medication for mt Tpe 2 diabetes.

    The highlight of my day was dancing, and walking, at ManyFest !
    Even though I use a walker to get around, I can still do these things !

    I have bad allergies too and now my husband is developing them-would be nice to hear how it goes for you!
    I am mopping floors right now and am taking a break to spark a bit! Great workout! emoticon

    I did 60 mins of fitness today. Also waited a bit late so I did a walking DVD while watching TV tonight.
