Tomorrow is the last weigh in for the Summer 5% Challenge. It was so awesome being a part of a team (Yay Teddy Bear!). You really had to push yourself so that you didn't let your team down; it wasn't all about doing your own thing.
Before the Challenge I was getting off track too often. Pounds were coming back on, definitely heading in the wrong direction!! The Challenge completely turned things around. I lost all the pounds I had regained plus a few. I started the 5K Your Way Rookie Training program (which I'll finish next weekend) and plan on doing my 1st 5K this month. I've done more exercise in the past 2 months than previously and really can see a difference.
I'm sorry to see it end but happy that I have the Fall 5% to look forward to. I'm stepping it up and hoping to help those who need some motivation by serving as the Motivational Leader for the Teddy Bears. I'm really excited.
Each Challenge only brings me closer to goal. I know that the Fall Challenge is closed now. If you're doing it, hooray! If you missed out, make sure to join the Winter Challenge as soon as it's announced.
There are lots of Challenge related teams on SP. Look one up & join. It might be just what you need to get you going in the right direction again!
