We're expecting a tropical storm - Maria - to pass directly over us later Saturday/Sunday. Shouldn't be too bad, just lots of rain and wind. Power will probably go out, so we have cold food and battery lights at the ready - as well as a container for water. Plus a wind up radio for news coverage.

This MAY turn into a hurricane - hopefully not until it is right here, or just passing us - that way, it will only be a category 1.

Anyway, we've already done this once this year - as long as it's a storm or cat. 1, or even a 2, we won't sustain much damage. More just an inconvenience.

So, I'll report back when I can - it's just that they turn off the power if the wind gets high, so that there isn't much damage. Protects the lines, or something.
