The Bane of My Existence

Thursday, September 08, 2011

Sometimes I really feel like food is the enemy. Working out everyday? No problem. Once it becomes a habit, I can't go without doing it. It's the food that keeps tripping me up.

Last week was an Indian holiday - a weeklong Indian holiday, which means food and going out to eat and going to people's houses for lunch and dinner.

This past Tuesday was my sister's birthday. She came home from school with an assortment of cakes, brownies, and cookies lovingly given to her by her friends. On top of that, we got a cake for her too.

I have had a weakness for sweet thing as long as I can remember. I supposed it's genetic because my mom is the same way. I came across an article right here on SparkPeople called Breaking Your Sugar Addiction:
I think I need to commit myself to that article and follow it for the entire duration. Only when I have control over this addiction will I see a real life change take place.

I have an addiction to food too, so I definitely understand where you are coming from. Just try to work on it with the advice given in the article. If you put your mind to it, you can do it! Good luck!
