today i am tempted to go and jog again
but being here at SP i know that not going today is as important as going tomorrow.
pacing myself and making sure rest days and other exercises are included.
it's not easy because the mind set is to just go for it today
but i now know that exhaustion can set in insidiously along side the high of exercise
and the new achievements.
so today i will not jog because if i wait until tomorrow my body will rest and repair
ready for a better performance and slowly but surely i will achieve my next goal
which is to jog 5k in a reasonable time.
regarding food i am great at allocated breakfast bran cereal, skimmed milk, fruit on
top cheese and tossed salad on 2 wholemeal bread at lunch.
dinner tends to be a variety of mostly healthy foods but then evening looms and i start
'wanting' of course it starts with healthy snack items fruit, yoghurt, then spills out of
my meal planner. i've discovered once you start it isn't easy to stop because
let's face it we are making habits here. so my habit needs to be sticking to my meal
planner every day not most days.
water is drunk in excess in the morning and after exercise but cold water in our winter
like weather is not always apealing so my habit needs to be water before eating
which may defer the tempting foods.
so pacing my progress here
lots of changes as i develop more healthy habits being kind to me.
