Today's Fitness
I did 15 minutes of fitness yesterday (Sept. 6)

Today's Highlights
Today's highlight was actually a "lowlight" as I was doing sprints yesterday and a bee stung me on the hand! I'm not sure if the bee was trying to motivate me to go faster or what, but I can do without that type of motivation!

Title: Breakthrough Mindset

Message: It was really cold and rainy the other day when hubby and I went grocery shopping, and since our Kroger has a Starbucks in it, we decided before we left the house that we were going to get some coffee to sip while we shopped (score 1 pt for making conscious decisions!). We got on the website and each picked out a drink from their "under 200 calorie" so we''d know what to order when we got there (score 1 pt for planning ahead!).

When we got there we ordered our awesome low fat drinks and I take a sip of mine...delicious... but I forgot to ask for no whip!!! I lamented this to my husband and got ready to take another sip because, well, I wanted it. I ordered it. I paid for it.

And then it hit me. I don''t have to eat anything I don''t want to. I didn''t WANT the whipped cream, I wasn''t going to eat it! I got a spoon from the barista and proceeded to scoop my whipped cream right into the trash before enjoying my drink. (score 1 pt for making a good decision in a pinch!).

May not seem like much, but I was pretty happy about it. Just those three choices saved me about 400 calories!

    I did 10 + 20 minutes, yesterday and today! I'm joining this challenge - gotta get rid of this last 1/2 pound.

  is 25 hoursof excersize exessive for a week, i do five spin classes, 3 circuit, classes, 5 personal trainning sessions .... do i need to cut down

    I spent 60 minutes working in the garden to harvest as many vegetables as I could before dark. I set my boxes down, picked the tomatoes and walked back and forth with each handful. Sure, I could have kept the box by my side but I combined harvesting and taking lots of extra steps.

My Highlight is Saying "Hello" emoticon to A few Familiar Walkers...I pass by on my early morning ~~Walks!

    Yes, I got at least 10 minutes. And my highlight isn't about the exercise, it is about the warmth and loveliness of people who are developmentally delayed. I spoke with a number of them today while waiting for medical appointments today.
